Getting people to sign up to your mailing list isn’t all that hard nowadays. The truth is that you don’t even need to create a full-blown website. In many cases, a well-designed landing page will do. In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how ActiveCampaign and Leadpages work together.
A quick background on ActiveCampaign and Leadpages
There are plenty of landing page and email solutions out there. In my opinion, these two apps offer the best solution for busy entrepreneurs like you and I.
Leadpages is a powerful tool for creating stunning landing pages and entire websites. Sure, WordPress may be a more affordable option. But there’s a much steeper learning curve involved. For anyone just getting started in the online world, I would recommend Leadpages over WordPress.
ActiveCampaign, on the other hand, is a popular email marketing platform. It helps you deliver relevant messages and keeps people engaged with your brand!
How to connect ActiveCampaign with Leadpages
Integrating these two platforms together isn’t as difficult as it sounds. Quite the opposite, to be honest. Here’s how:
In a nutshell, here’s what you need to do:
- Setup your ActiveCampaign account. You can start by creating a list and a form.

2. Then connect your ActiveCampaign account to Leadpages by entering your ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key.
3. Once your ActiveCampaign account is connected to Leadpages, you’ll be able to see the email list and form you created in Step #1. As you can see below, I’ve already started working on my landing page/form on Leadpages.
At this point, anyone who submits their email address via your Leadpages landing page will be added to your ActiveCampaign mailing list. And that’s basically all there is to it – you’ve now successfully connected your ActiveCampaign account to Leadpages!
